About Lisa Whittaker

Lisa Whittaker is a writer who finds meaning in the quiet, often overlooked moments of everyday life. Through her reflections on faith, family, and the changing seasons, she encourages readers to slow down and notice the small things that matter most.

After a career with the National Park Service, Lisa now enjoys a slower pace of life spent traveling, writing, reading, and time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She is also the author of the children’s book If I Were a Turkey.

Lisa shares more of her writing on her blog, Long Walks and Dark Chocolate, where her love for autumn, thoughtful reflection, and simple joys continues to inspire others.
